The people behind the app Steller Stories contacted me about doing a feature. I loved the energy of London, its grand and cosy nooks. A world city that has maintained its history and is open to innovation and creativity. I called my story 5 London Finds.

I covered several places in Marylebone: Durrants Hotel, Daunt Books, Monocle Café. It was fascinating to hear that the area is mostly owned by the estates of two families and has been curated to be more village like: no chain stores – more individual shops and small local brands.

In Bethanal Green I photographed the Town Hall Hotel restaurant, Hostem and Labour and Wait in Shoreditch. The mysterious and striking design of Hostem by the innovative James Plumb Studio had the greatest impact. Kind of why you travel… to be inspired and see new things.
